Side effects of Cerelle
Like all medications, Cerelle can sometimes cause side effects.
Common side effects, which can affect up to 1 in 10 women, include:
- Mood alterations
- Lower sexual drive (libido)
- Depression
- Headaches
- Nausea
- Acne
- Breast pain
- Increased body weight
Uncommon side effects, which can affect up to 1 in 100 women, include:
- Vaginal infections
- Difficulties in wearing contact lenses
- Vomiting
- Hair loss
- Painful menstruation
- Ovarian cysts
- Fatigue
Rare side effects, which can affect up to 1 in 1,000 women, include:
- Rash
- Hives
- Erythema nodosum (a skin condition characterised by painful blue-red skin lumps)
