This is due to a problem with the hormone insulin, responsible for moving glucose from your bloodstream into the cells of your body for energy. With diabetes, the body either attacks insulin-producing cells, does not produce enough insulin or does not react to insulin.
High blood sugar levels can cause symptoms such as nausea, blurry vision and drowsiness, and low blood sugar can result in shaking, sweating, and dizziness.
