The thermometer is used to rapidly detect and measure forehead temperature from a distance of up to 10cm. This particular digital thermometer is recommended by doctors and pediatricians, as it is practical and sanitary to maintain excellent hygiene. It is also suitable for all ages, from infants and children to adults and the elderly.

The infrared thermometer has a range of useful features including a silent mode, room temperature detection and memory storage and recall. This no-contact digital thermometer conforms to CE, FDA (Class II Device) and ROHS standards.

How does the Non-Contact Infrared Forehead Digital Thermometer work?

The digital thermometer uses infrared technology to detect an individual's thermal radiation, which is a marker of body temperature. The thermometer is pointed at the forehead of an individual from a distance of up to 10cm. The trigger is pressed to take the temperature reading which will appear on the black display screen of the device. The ‘fever warning’ is a useful feature that causes the device to vibrate to draw attention to a particularly high forehead temperature reading.

2 x AAA batteries (not included) are needed to power this digital thermometer.
