The frequency with which an individual can safely delay menstruation depends on various factors including the individual’s medical history, age, lifestyle, and whether they are taking other treatments such as daily contraceptives.
While it may be safe to occasionally delay a period, doing so frequently can result in hormonal imbalances and increase the risk of potentially dangerous health outcomes such as the formation of blood clots.
We recommend consulting your doctor or GP to determine how frequently you can delay periods safely.

Period delay tablets are safe if taken according to the instructions in the patient information leaflet and as advised by a medical professional.
