What is Nurofen Plus?
Nurofen Plus provides relief from migraines, headaches, cold and flu symptoms, back pain, period pain, dental pain, muscular pain and rheumatic pain. Nurofen Plus tablets are easy to swallow and work at the site of the pain to provide relief from discomfort. Nurofen Plus should be used for the short-term treatment of acute, moderate pain which is not considered to be relieved by other analgesics such as paracetamol, ibuprofen or aspirin alone.
Nurofen Plus contains 200mg of ibuprofen which contributes to reducing inflammation. Nurofen Plus also contains 12.8mg of codeine to help reduce the feeling of pain and discomfort.

Nurofen Plus tablets are easy to swallow and can be taken with water.
How often can I take Nurofen Plus?
Nurofen Plus tablets should be taken at a dosage of 1-2 tablets every 4-6 hours. You should not take more than 6 Nurofen Plus tablets within a 24-hour period.
How does Nurofen Plus work in the body?
Nurofen Plus contains ibuprofen, which is a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID), and codeine, which is an analgesic medication. The dual-action of the active ingredients found in Nurofen Plus provides optimal relief from mild to moderate pain if everyday painkillers such as ibuprofen or paracetamol have not worked to relieve pain.
How do I take Nurofen Plus safely?
Nurofen Plus should only be taken by those aged 12 or older. You should not take more than 6 Nurofen Plus tablets within a 24-hour period. You should not take Nurofen Plus if you are taking aspirin for pain relief (a dose of more than 75mg a day) or any other NSAID such as naproxen, diclofenac, or other products containing ibuprofen.
