Urgent Care Services
Call 999 in a medical emergency – when someone is seriously ill or injured and their life is at risk.
Medical emergencies can include:
- loss of consciousness
- an acute confused state
- fits that are not stopping
- persistent, severe chest pain
- breathing difficulties
- severe bleeding that cannot be stopped
- severe allergic reactions
- severe burns or scalds
You should use the NHS 111 service if you urgently need medical help or advice but it's not a
life-threatening situation.
Call 111 if:
- you need medical help fast but it's not a 999 emergency
- you think you need to go to A&E or need another NHS urgent care service
- you don't know who to call or you don't have a GP to call
- you need health information or reassurance about what to do next
Call NHS 111 if you urgently need medical help or advice but it's not a life-threatening situation.
Call 999 if someone is seriously ill or injured and their life is at risk.
Only go to A&E in a genuine life-threatening emergency.
Get help for a minor illness or injury at times you can't wait to see your GP.
Your pharmacist can give you advice for many common minor illnesses.
Make an appointment with your GP if you are feeling unwell and it is not an emergency.
Find out how to act if someone has a mental health crisis or acute emergency.
Find out who to contact if you have a dental emergency.
Urgent treatment centres will provide fast and efficient care closer to home, improve patient care and reduce unnecessary A&E attendances.
Privacy Assurance
Medical data and your order history is completely confidential and will only be viewable by our pharmacy staff. We will never disclose this data unless legally obliged to by law. Pharmica complies with UK Data Protection legislation. The Pharmica
Terms and Conditions and Privacy Policy specify how we use confidential patient data.
Return Policy
For safety reasons, we cannot allow medicines to be returned once they have left the pharmacy. As we have to dispose of returned medication, we are not able to process refunds on medication. If you have unwanted medicine, please contact our pharmacy team and we can arrange for you to safely send the medication back to us for disposal.
For orders that are to be delivered by post, you can cancel an order for medicines up until the point when your medicine is dispatched. This can be done by sending an email to help@pharmica.co.uk.
Complaints
Pharmica has a policy and procedure for written complaints.
If you wish to raise a formal written complaint, please send us an email. We aim to acknowledge all formal written complaints within two working days and respond to all formal written complaints within five working days.
If you are dissatisfied with the resolution to a formal written complaint, please contact the General Pharmaceutical Council.
